Golden Globe Awards 2026 Must-See Moments: ‘Heated Rivalry’ Stars, Teyana Taylor’s Emotional Win
Paul Thomas Anderson and Maya Rudolph are having one adorable moment after another.
The longtime couple surprised fans as they shared a sweet kiss when Paul picked up the award for Best Screenplay, Motion Picture for One Battle After Another at the 2026 Golden Globes at the Beverly Hilton on Jan. 11 and again when he won the award for Best Director.
When the director’s name was first called for Best Screenplay by Macaulay Culkin, the 55-year-old turned to his partner of over 25 years and the two shared a rare kiss. Maya, 53, later stood up to plant another kiss on Paul when Judd Apatow announced him as the evening’s Best Director. (Click here for all the winners.)
While Paul didn’t give Maya a shoutout during his acceptance speeches, he did make sure to thank his cast, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, Chase Infiniti and Regina Hall.
“The moment when it gets out of your room and off a page and actors start saying it,” he told the crowd, “that’s when it gets great.”
