“I am marrying my best friend,” Holly, who began dating the gold medalist in 2023, wrote at the time. “I truly cannot put into words how I am feeling right now. I still remember how big my smile was the morning I got home from my first date with you.”
She continued, “Thank you for letting the little girl inside of me feel loved, seen and happier than ever. I love you & I cannot wait to be your wife.”
Holly then directed a sweet message to his little boy. “I promise to always be there with you and George,” she added. “I’m so greatful [sic] to be in his life and I cannot wait for more. Everything is better with you. Everything has been better since you. Here’s to forever.”
And as she and Adam begin their journey to forever, they have her parents to turn to for any advice. After all, Tana, 51, previously detailed how she and Gordon put in the work to keep the spark alive—especially balancing their careers, adult kids and little ones.
“In our relationship, having little kids again, our present to each other on our last anniversary was, we have to go to the theater once a month, and we have to go out three times a month, and we’re not allowed to wear trainers,” she told Giovanna Fletcher on a September 2024 episode of the podcast Happy Mum Happy Baby. “So we kind of dress up—a nice dress, and I’ll wear heels. He’ll wear a suit or a shirt and proper shoes. Proper time together.”
