Two people were found dead at Rob Reiner’s Los Angeles mansion.
On Sunday, Dec. 14, the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) was called to the home at around 3:30 p.m. local time to provide medical aid, and upon arrival, they found a man and a woman dead, the LAFD confirms to PEOPLE.
The man is approximately 78 years old, and the woman is believed to be 68 years old, per the LAFD, but their identities have not yet been shared publicly.
TMZ confirmed that the home belongs to Reiner, 78, and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, and neighbors also confirmed homeownership to NBC Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) responded shortly after the LAFD arrived, and authorities have opened an investigation into the deaths, per TMZ.
The LAPD did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on Dec. 14, nor did a representative for Reiner.
