While on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday, Dec. 10, the pop superstar opened up about her engagement, sweetly referring to the tight end as “the love of my life.”

Those were two things that just might never have happened. They could have just never happened. It wasn’t like, ‘Oh, it’s just a matter of time.’ ”
She went on to express her gratitude for her good fortune. “Both of those things could have just never arrived in my life, and I’m so grateful for both of those things happening.”

At the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2024, Swift gave a special shout-out to Kelce in her acceptance speech, saying, “Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic. So, I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I’ll always remember that.”
After Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC championship and earned their spot at the Super Bowl in January 2025, Swift joined him on the field and told him, “I love you. I’m so proud of you.”
During her appearance on New Heights on Aug. 13, Swift also called her then-boyfriend a “vibe booster,” adding that he was “so loyal.”

The first two episodes of the six-part docuseries will air on Friday, Dec. 12, with two new episodes releasing each week.
