Josie Bates Balka is officially a mom of four!
The Bringing Up Bates alum, 26, welcomed her fourth baby with husband Kelton Balka, sharing the exciting news on Instagram. The newly minted mom of four shared the first glimpse of her little one with a series of pictures from the newborn’s first few moments earthside.
“Our sweet baby is here 🥹🫶🏻,” she wrote in the caption, followed by several hashtags including #familyof6 and #laboranddelivery.
In the comment section, friends, family and fans of the Bates family shared their congratulatory messages.
“Sooo perfect 🥹” commented Carlin Bates, who welcomed her third baby with husband Evan Stewart in September.
Ahead of her newborn’s arrival, Josie made a hilarious video with her husband, acting out a scene that Love Island USA season 7 contestant Amaya Espinal said during the show. In the caption, she shared her excitement to meet her newborn.
“So excited to meet this sweet baby 🥹🎀🦋🫶🏻,” she wrote.
Josie first revealed she and her husband were expecting another baby together back in April via Instagram. In the video, the now family of six all wore white as they walked together holding hands in the grass.
In one portion of the video clip, the then-expectant mom held a sonogram close to her, as she caressed her growing bump. Another clip showed Josie spinning the couple’s two daughters, Hazel, 4, and Willow, 6, around as Kelton held onto their son Miles, 21 months.

The reality TV stars tied the knot in October 2018 during an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Tennessee mountains, with the bride wearing an A-line, long-sleeve white gown. Months later, they announced their first little one, daughter Willow, was on the way, welcoming her in July 2019.
Two years later, the couple welcomed their second child, daughter Hazel, announcing the news on Instagram. Their latest addition, son Miles, joined their family three years later in February 2024.
Sharing a carousel of photos on Instagram, Josie posted photos of their newborn baby boy, snuggling up as they rested in her hospital bed. “Meet the newest love of our lives 🫶,” she wrote in her caption.
Josie also included a video of her giving birth, writing, “We waited 9 months for the surprise of our lives,” as she learned at that moment that she had given birth to their first baby boy.
“THE BEST SURPRISE 🥹,” she captioned the sweet video.
