Andy Richter and Alan Bersten shared a smooch in the name of hockey.
The comedian, 59, and Dancing with the Stars pro, 31, were captured on the Los Angeles Kings’ kiss cam on Saturday, Dec. 6 alongside fellow DWTS pro and Bersten’s girlfriend, Emma Slater. Slater, 36, and Bersten kissed for the cameras — but Richter apparently wanted to get in on the moment, too.
In a clip from the game shared on Instagram, Bersten and Slater shared a kiss as the Kings took on the Chicago Blackhawks. Moments later, Richter tapped his friend on the shoulder, Bersten turned around, and they shared a kiss of their own.
After the peck, Slater opened her mouth in shock as they all laughed and clapped over the unconventional kiss-cam moment.
“Last night was so fun,” Bersten captioned the clip. “@theemmaslater and I had our first kiss cam! And so did @richtercommaandy at the @lakings.”

Several Dancing with the Stars alum also got a kick out of the moment, including Elaine Hendrix and Lisa Ann Walter, who commented underneath the video. “This is awesome,” the Abbott Elementary star, 62, wrote, while Hendrix, 54, asked, “Should I be jealous of Andy?”
One fan even pointed out that Richter’s wife, Sarah Thyre, could be seen in the background of the clip cheering on the unexpected kiss. “I bet she’s such a fun wife/friend,” they wrote.

Slater danced alongside Richter on season 34 of DWTS, as the pair came in seventh place after being eliminated during the show’s 20th Birthday Party episode in November. Less than two weeks after his elimination, Richter told PEOPLE that he was still recovering physically from his time on the show.
“Certainly my body is enjoying not dancing, just because I was really getting to the point where I was always having to ice my knees every hour,” he said. “We’d dance a while and then I’d have to ice my knee, and there was a lot of pain and getting injections just to be able to keep going. So I’m healing. It’s not even just that I’m sort of resting, I feel like my legs are healing now. It wasn’t just exercise, it was borderline abuse that I was doing to myself.”
“As much as I do feel like my body’s healing, I do kind of miss the physicality of it,” he added. “Going to the gym and doing the elliptical is not the same thing as rehearsing a new dance with Emma. It’s just not.”
Looking back to himself in the months prior, Richter said he felt like “a different person” both physically and mentally. “There’s a lot of stuff that I didn’t think I could do anymore,” he said. “It’s made what I think is physically possible, it’s expanded that completely. And honestly, it’s kind of made me younger. I’m younger now than when I started doing this.”
Slater and Bersten, meanwhile, had been “supportive” of each other during their latest season of DWTS, Slater told PEOPLE in September. They confirmed their relationship back in April. “She pulls him over when she’s trying to figure something out, and she knows I won’t be able to do it,” Richter said at the time. “She goes, ‘Just do this and see how it looks.’
“And I’m like, ‘Are you watching, Andy?’ ” Slater chimed in.
