Pregnancy was so nice, some celebrity parents did it twice … in a row.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s sons, RZA Athelston and Riot Rose, are 15 months apart, and Britney Spears’ two kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, were born almost one year to the day of each other.
The “Diamonds” singer welcomed her third child in 2025, joining other famous moms such as former Bachelorette Emily Maynard Johnson and Hilaria Baldwin, who have experienced multiple close-together pregnancies.
Some of the pregnancies came as a surprise, too. Tori Spelling learned she was pregnant with her fourth child just one month after giving birth to daughter Hattie Margaret.
Here are other celebrity moms who welcomed children back-to-back.

In January 2022, Rihanna announced that she and her longtime friend and partner A$AP Rocky were expecting their first child together. Son RZA was born on May 13, 2022, followed by their second child, son Riot, 15 months later in August 2023.
Rihanna revealed her third pregnancy on the red carpet at the 2025 Met Gala. Ahead of the annual event, photographer Miles Diggs shared the news by posting a photo on Instagram of the pregnant singer holding an umbrella in the rain as her baby bump was on full display.
In July 2025, a source told PEOPLE that Rihanna and Rocky were “thrilled to be growing their family again with baby number three.”
“They’ve really embraced this chapter, and their bond has only deepened since becoming parents,” the source said.

Just five months after welcoming their third child together — daughter Esti Maxine, born on Jan. 13, 2023 — Chrissy Teigen and John Legend revealed their family had grown again.
Their fourth child, son Wren Alexander, was born via surrogate on June 19, 2023.
In Wren’s birth announcement on Instagram, the Cravings cookbook author shared, “For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four children.”
“Our hearts, and our home, are officially full. And to our Jack, we know both their angel kisses are from you,” she concluded the post, referencing the son they lost during pregnancy in 2020.
The couple’s two older children are also close in age: Luna Simone was born on April 14, 2016, and son Miles Theodore arrived on May 16, 2018.

Paris Hilton’s two children were born so close together that they made their debuts in the same calendar year. The hotel heiress and her husband, Carter Reum — whom she married in November 2021 — welcomed their first child, son Phoenix Barron, via surrogate in January 2023.
Less than a year later, daughter London Marilyn joined the family via surrogate in November 2023.
“Phoenix and London are everything to me, and I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to be married to the love of my life and have our beautiful family. We make the absolute best team, and my life finally feels complete,” Hilton told PEOPLE in April 2024, when she shared the first official photos of her daughter.

Hilaria told Romper in June 2023 that Ilaria is “probably, most definitely, almost completely my last baby.”
“I’m always afraid to say it,” she told the outlet. “I was putting away my maternity clothes recently and was like, ‘I’m afraid to give them away, because then I’ll find out I’m pregnant.’ “

In September 2016, the star’s mom, Kathy Hilton, said Nicky had taken to motherhood “like a duck to water.”
“She’s unbelievable,” Kathy said of her younger daughter before adding, “I’ll tell her certain things, but she’s read up on everything.”
The couple took a break before welcoming their third child, son Chasen, in June 2022.
“We are officially a party of 5!” Nicky wrote on Instagram alongside a black-and-white silhouette image of the proud parents. “Welcome to the world sweet boy. Mom, dad and big sisters could not be more smitten. 💙”

In February 2021, Jessa announced that she and Ben were expecting their fourth baby after experiencing a miscarriage the previous year. Daughter Fern Elliana arrived on July 19, 2021, and she was the first of her siblings to be born in a hospital rather than at home in Arkansas.

During her Necessary Realness show, Stewart said her second pregnancy was partially a surprise, but she had always wanted to have babies close together.
“I don’t think a pregnancy is ever a total surprise, but in my case, it was pretty surprising considering I had all those thyroid issues. But we also knew what we were doing. So, it was both,” Stewart said.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum was already mom to son Liam Aaron, born on March 13, 2007, and daughters Stella Doreen, born on June 9, 2008, and Hattie, born on Oct. 10, 2011, when she got the unexpected news in 2012 that she and then-husband Dean McDermott were expecting for the fourth time.
“It was the second biggest shock of my life. The first was when they said Hattie was a girl when she was born, because we thought she was going to be a boy,” Spelling told PEOPLE. “And the second was that I was pregnant after my newborn [Hattie] had just turned 1 month old. We were shocked.”
The celebraTORI author and McDermott welcomed their fourth child together, son Finn Davey, on Aug. 30, 2012. Their youngest son, Beau Dean, joined the family in March 2017.
McDermott also has a son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Mary Jo Eustace. Spelling filed for divorce from McDermott in March 2024 after 18 years of marriage.

It’s a full house! Former Bachelorette Emily Maynard wed Tyler Johnson in June 2014, and they celebrated the birth of their first child together, son Jennings Tyler, on July 15, 2015.
Their second son, Gibson Kyle, was born on Sept. 16, 2016, just 14 months later.
“We’re going to plan this one a little better. We’ll space it out a little bit better,” she said of having more kids following Gibson’s birth. “This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”
The plan didn’t quite work out that way — the couple’s third child, son Gatlin Avery, was born on Nov. 12, 2017, 14 months after welcoming Gibson. The reality TV star’s youngest two are a little more spaced out but still close in age — daughter Magnolia “Nola” Belle was born in October 2020, followed by son Jones West on Aug. 31, 2022. Maynard Johnson also has an older daughter, Ricki, from her relationship with late fiancé Ricky Hendrick.
