Ryan Seacrest is prepping for Thanksgiving — by getting in the gym!
On Wednesday, Nov. 26, just one day ahead of the festive holiday, the 50-year-old television host and producer got ready for all the delicious dishes with an intense workout session.
“Today’s workout is sponsored by the future version of me who will absolutely be going back for seconds,” the American Idol host captioned an Instagram Reel set to “Bones” by Imagine Dragons.
In the clip, Seacrest began doing squats with a large dumbbell before using his core to help balance while doing crunches on a bench with a weight.
A trainer watched the media mogul from a distance as Seacrest continued with exercises that focused on his stomach. A sleeveless tank top that fit like a second layer of skin, paired with black basketball shorts, showed off the toned physique that Seacrest’s dedication has earned him.
Supporters cheered him on in the comment section, like his fellow radio host, Tanya Rad, whose wedding he officiated in March.
“Get it,” the 38-year-old former Bachelor contestant wrote, adding several flexing muscle emojis.
But Seacrest didn’t wait until the day before Thanksgiving to start getting into shape.
Over the weekend, the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve host posted another workout video, this time playfully sharing his tip for how to look good in the gym: “The trick is to wear a t-shirt two sizes too small.”
Queer Eye For The Straight Guy alum Carson Kressley joked that he was “Headed to Baby Gap now!”
Meanwhile, Michael Bublé commented, “I can’t wait to see you in the new terminator reboot,” and added a fire emoji.

Between his many hosting gigs, producing and working out while preparing for the holidays, Seacrest previously told PEOPLE that he still finds time to sleep, no matter how busy his life gets.
“I do sleep. Everyone asks me, do I sleep? It’s like, I go to bed immediately, and I get a good night’s sleep,” the Wheel of Fortune host told PEOPLE in September, before admitting, “But it’s pretty jam-packed in between the sleeps.”
