There’s going to be another baby salmon bowl!
Emily Mariko, 33, who went viral for her salmon bowl recipe on TikTok, is pregnant and expecting her second baby with husband Matt Rickard. She announced the news in a cute, Thanksgiving-themed video on Sunday, Nov. 23.
Culminating a series of videos she’s been posting of the various dishes she’s cooking up for the holiday, this latest one showed Mariko, Rickard and their toddler son, Theodore “Teddy,” getting ready to dig into some pumpkin pies. With a coy smile, Mariko placed two large pies next to a small pie and an even smaller one, revealing that their family of three will soon be four.
Then, she cut four slices and topped them each with a dollop of whipped cream. They all took a bite of the pie, and then Mariko rubbed her baby bump before Teddy sweetly leaned in and kissed it.

Mariko and her husband welcomed Teddy in June 2024.
Weeks later, the food influencer shared the exciting news that she’d welcomed her first baby on her TikTok and Instagram accounts.
Mariko shared a video of herself smiling and lying in bed while her newborn slept on her chest. “One month of Theodore 🧸🤎,” the proud mom wrote in her caption.
She first shared that she was expecting her first baby on Christmas Eve 2023, posting a video on her TikTok.
In the sweet announcement post, Mariko entered a living room, walking past a Christmas tree while wearing a cozy sweater and leggings. As she made her way to the fireplace, she carried a couple of Christmas stockings.
Setting down a plate of cookies and a glass of milk for Santa, the vlogger then began to hang the stockings over the mantle. After hanging two normal-sized ones, Mariko added a third tiny stocking.
Although the video didn’t have a caption, Mariko’s followers shared their excitement in the comments section.
“THEYRE HAVING A BABY SALMON BOWL AHHHH🥹🥹,” one person commented on the food blogger’s post, referencing the dish the influencer is best known for.
