Tiffany Haddish’s dating life is looking bright!
The comedian, 45, shared in an update while attending the PEOPLE and InStyle Drive-By F1 Party in Las Vegas on Friday, Nov. 21, that her dating life is “a lot easier” now following her recent “self-marriage” ceremony.
“Since I married myself, my dating life has been amazing,” Haddish told PEOPLE. “First of all, I’m never alone, never alone. And it’s been a lot easier because I have boundaries now. We have limits. And these men have to fall in line with what our requirements are.”
In episode 5 of her new Peacock documentary series, Tiffany Haddish Goes Off, Haddish celebrated a “self-marriage” ceremony where she walked down the aisle and made vows in commitment to herself.
Marrying herself hasn’t wavered the prospects of dating for Haddish, though, she shared, and she now knows exactly what she wants to find in her next partner.

“They gotta have a good credit score because they need to be responsible. When I’m responsible, they need to be responsible,” the actress told PEOPLE. “I don’t need you to have more than me, it’s okay if you have less than, but you better have that credit score right. That’s your grown-up report card.”
While she’s still open to dating, Haddish shared that she is focused on honoring the special commitment she made to herself and hopes to take a solo trip soon to celebrate the holiday season.
“My plan this year [for Thanksgiving] is to go to the Bahamas,” said Haddish. “Normally, I serve the homeless, and I’m making collard greens and mashed potatoes and all kinds of stuff. But not this year. This year, I’m taking me. I’m married, so we are going out on a little trip. A little married trip. A solo married trip.”

The Girls Trip actress also revealed in her docu-series that she first had the idea to marry herself in 2018, while she was unhappy in a relationship, per USA Today. “I was like, ‘I’ll be my husband. I could take care of me better than you could,’ ” Haddish said on the show.
“I started realizing all these things I want from somebody else, I need to be giving to me,” she told the outlet. “And if I’m able to do that, when that person shows up, it’s going to be so easy for us to come together.”
All six episodes of Tiffany Haddish Goes Off are streaming now on Peacock.
