British ice dancers Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson are pledging their allegiance to Taylor Swift!
The 2026 Winter Olympics hopefuls recently shared a glimpse of an upcoming program, set to Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia.”
In footage from their routine, the duo are perfectly synched to the music, showing off their athleticism and artistry to The Life of a Showgirl hit.
For the Beijing Olympics alums, popular music has seemingly always been on their radar.
Nicknamed the “Disco Brits” for their decision to embrace Donna Summer and Earth, Wind and Fire with their 2018 free dance, Fear, 26 and Gibson, 31, won over new fans and scored with the old in the program.
“Our free dance is an homage to Studio 54 and the era of disco,” Gibson explained at the time to Ice-Dance.com. “In addition to being music we love, we wanted to challenge ourselves with a genre that is completely different to anything we have tackled in the past.”

The athletes capitalized on the pop culture momentum, bringing Madonna and even tracks from The Blues Brothers into their skating fold, according to International Figure Skating magazine.
With their assured moves on the ice, the duo’s performances spark audience participation, as they’ve continued to integrate beloved and diverse music from The Lion King and KISS to Lady Gaga and Beyoncé.
Earlier this year, the duo made history, becoming the first British figure skaters to win a medal — bronze — at a World Championships since Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean in 1984, according to the BBC.
Now entering their 10th year as partners, the off-the-ice best friends gave the outlet a bit of insight as to how they choose their music.
“We go with the one that makes us the most excited and where we think, ‘Oh, yeah, we want to skate to that every single morning when it’s freezing at 7 a.m.,’ and get all the repetitions and hear it over and over again,” Fear said.
