NEED TO KNOW
Noah Cyrus isn’t rushing down the aisle anytime soon.
The singer, 25, said in an interview on the Zach Sang Show on Monday, Nov. 17, that she’s taken her time with her engagement, as her fiancé Pinkus has been making the move from his home country, Germany, to the U.S.
“It’s just a lot of moving parts of somebody moving their life from a different country, so, we’re going through all [that] process,” Cyrus, who got engaged in 2023, said of why she’s waiting to tie the knot.
“He’s from Düsseldorf and I love it there. It reminds me a lot of Nashville,” said Cyrus. “A lot of the nature’s very similar … like, where I’m from out in Spring Hill, Tennessee.”

The “July” singer said on the show that she has visited her fiancé’s home country and revealed her hopes for the two to have places in both Germany and the U.S. in the future.
“I’m definitely thinking about — especially once he’s here permanently — like us having houses in both places, just because I want to be there more and I really want to go and make this next album,” added Cyrus.
The Grammy-nominated singer made the surprise announcement of her engagement to fashion designer Pinkus in June 2023. Cyrus introduced Pinkus as her boyfriend to her fans in a TikTok video two months prior.
“The greatest moment of my entire life was saying ‘yes’ to spending the rest of ours together,” Cyrus wrote on Instagram at the time. “This past month of being your fiancé and being in our own little world of just us two has been so perfect and i wish i could never leave this time.”

The singer opened up about her relationship with Pinkus to PEOPLE in August.
“My relationship now is a true partnership. It’s something that I hold really close to us — and also hold our privacy very close to us,” she said. “…Love and partnership is just open communication and continuous support of one another, and just being in each other’s corner. I think that’s also something that has felt new for me.”
Cyrus also shared her next personal goal — to start a family.
“I want to be a mom. This is something that I want more than any other goal in my life,” she said. “…This is a very strong place that I’m newly in; I’m in the happiest and best, most secure spot I’ve been in in a very long time…”
