Ariana Grande is a jack of all trades.
On the Tuesday, Nov. 18 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the pop star, 32, who plays the role of Glinda in Wicked and the upcoming Wicked: For Good, revealed her impressive wand skills to host Jimmy Fallon.
“There’s a fight scene,” Fallon, 51, said, as he discussed a scene between Glinda and Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) in the sequel. “It’s a full on video game Mortal Kombat fight scene and you show off some crazy wand skills.”
“Oh, thank you,” Grande replied, to which Fallon added, “Yes, I mean it was like,” as he gave an impersonation by moving his hands.
“It’s pretty impressive,” he continued.
“It got caught in my wig a few times,” Grande said of using the wand on set.
Bringing out a wand from behind his desk, the studio audience erupted into cheers as Grande gasped, “How didn’t I see that from behind you?”
“Can you do any skills? Could you do any flips? Do you remember it?,” Fallon pleaded.
“Yeah, I can try. I’m a little out of practice, it’s been like three and a half years,” she replied.

“I have to find my footing,” Grande continued, as she grabbed the wand and stood up.
Grande then bent her knees and began twirling the wand with one hand without pausing.
Hiding behind his desk for safety, Fallon screamed “Yes!” as the crowd cheered.
Finishing her impressive performance, Grande then raised the wand up in the air before sitting back down for a snippet of the upcoming movie.
