Ariana Grande asked for calmness on the red carpet at Wicked: For Good’s final premiere stop.
When the star, 32, posed for photos on the red carpet in New York City on Monday, Nov. 17, she asked photographers to stop yelling, per video captured at the event.
Grande’s costar Cynthia Erivo can also be seen in the video signaling to photographers to tone down the volume as lights from cameras flashed at Grande.
“This is so peaceful, see?” Grande joked with a smile after the request.
In another clip shared by the Associated Press, Grande told the photographers, “I promise you’ll get your shot,” after prompting them for no shouting.

Grande and Erivo, 38 — who star in the two-part Wicked adaptation as Glinda and Elphaba — posed for photos together and skipped most press interviews at the New York City premiere.
Universal Pictures announced prior to the event that Erivo would skip most interviews because she had lost her voice.
“I’m not letting her speak. She has to rest her voice!” Grande told the premiere’s livestream on Nov. 17, when she and Erivo stopped for a moment to speak with host Justin Sylvester. “It’s so full circle to be in New York City where the Gershwin [Theatre] is, where Wicked is and to be celebrating tonight together.”

Erivo briefly added, “It’s really beautiful that we’re finishing here, where it started.”
Grande and Erivo took in For Good’s premiere alongside director Jon M. Chu and their costars Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, Marissa Bode, Michelle Yeoh and Ethan Slater, among others.
Wicked: For Good is in theaters Nov. 21.
