All About Aurora, Murphy and Vaughn

Triple H (born Paul Levesque) and Stephanie McMahon have spent decades at the center of WWE’s biggest storylines, but their most important role is the one they play at home as parents to three daughters.

The wrestlers first became parents when they welcomed Aurora Rose on July 24, 2006. They later added daughters Murphy Claire (born on July 28, 2008) and Vaughn Evelyn Levesque (born on Aug. 24, 2010) to the family.

Their dynamic is anything but ordinary, with wrestling fun often coming home.

“We’ve had impromptu matches break out. They like to wrestle us sometimes because it’s fun,” McMahon told PEOPLE in April 2018. “We throw them around and they like to dress up in the outfits and create their own characters, their own personas because that’s what WWE is.”

Here’s everything to know about Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s three kids: Aurora Rose, Murphy Claire and Vaughn Evelyn Levesque.

Aurora Rose Levesque, 19

Triple H and McMahon welcomed their first child, Aurora Rose Levesque, on July 24, 2006.

In keeping with dramatic storylines surrounding pro wrestling, Stephanie was originally due to give birth on July 27, but went into labor early before a taping of Monday Night RAW.

Aurora has grown up to be an accomplished softball player. As a catcher for the Lady Titans and St. Luke’s Varsity Softball team, she was named the First County Bank Athlete of the Month by the Bobby Valentine Sports Academy (BVSA) in October 2023.

Upon receiving the award, the student-athlete shared the lessons the sport has taught her.

“You are going to fail more times than you are going to succeed, and that is how you get better as an athlete,” she told the BVSA. “Give everything they do their all, whether that is in athletics or academics because the hard work will pay off.”

Aurora is now playing softball at Springfield College while pursuing a degree in physical therapy, per the school. During his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in April 2025, Triple H paid tribute to his eldest daughter.

“She’s one of the hardest working kids I know,” he said. “I’m so incredibly proud of you.”

While Aurora’s current focus is on academics and athletics, the possibility of following in her family’s WWE footsteps hasn’t been ruled out.

“She’s focused right now on going off to college and doing her thing there so, you never know,” Triple H told Daily Mail Sport in July 2024. “Look, if any of my kids decided to make an attempt to get in WWE, which is a lot of hard work, I would be 100% behind them, but that’s up to them and where they want to go with their lives, so I support them in whatever they do.”

Murphy Claire Levesque, 17

Two years after becoming parents for the first time, McMahon and Triple H expanded their family with the arrival of Murphy Claire Levesque on July 28, 2008.

Becoming a father has deeply transformed the way Triple H views life and relationships.

“[Parenthood has] put a whole new spin on life for me,” the WWE’s chief content officer told PEOPLE in August 2008, just a few weeks after Murphy’s birth. “It’s changed my perspective about what’s important … I don’t know if it’s softened me up, but it changes the way you look at women. I’m probably going to pay for my past!”

Murphy has been spotted ringside at marquee events like WrestleMania, cheering on her parents during some of their biggest moments. She was present as her father was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April 2025, and he shouted her out during his acceptance speech.

“Murphy, who is 16, has her license. Holy s—. She is about as eclectic as it gets,” she said. “She rides horses, she paints, she draws; she’s incredibly creative. She also plays on the boys’ football team in high school. She’s a running back on that team. When I asked her why she wanted to play football with boys, she said, ‘I want to prove to myself that I can take on the world.’ ”

He continued, saying, “Murphy, you can do it all.”

Her love of horses prompted the teen to co-found the Hidden Gem Animal Rescue in 2020 alongside her horseback riding trainer, Logan Allison. The organization aims to “save animals from life on the street and give them a loving home,” per their website.

“Our biggest goal with the rescue is to have our own location and really build it to be a truly safe haven for animals,” Murphy told The Sentinel in May 2024. “Rescues aren’t technically permanent homes, but a rescue is more stable than living on the streets. Maybe even in the far, far future, we can have multiple locations across the country. Potentially one down south where there are a lot of dogs that need help.”

Vaughn Evelyn Levesque, 15

Their youngest daughter, Vaughn Evelyn Levesque, was born on Aug. 24, 2010. From a young age, she has shown an interest in the family business.

“I just had a ‘match’ with my 6-year-old,” Stephanie shared during an interview with The Straits Times in September 2016. “She made me announce her entrance, entering to Katy Perry’s new song, ‘Rise.’ She completely understands it all. I was doing the three-count and wanted the match to be over and she pulled me up so she didn’t get the count till three! I said, ‘Honey, you got to pin me.’ She said, ‘I don’t want the match to be over.’ ”

Five years later, when asked which of her girls was most likely to wrestle, Stephanie said that spark of interest had only grown.

“My youngest daughter is also very interested, but she is all about the personality,” Stephanie revealed in an interview with TalkSport in November 2021. “Oh my goodness, I can’t wait to see what she is going to do.”

Although she’s still a teen, her father sees Vaughn as wise beyond her years.

“[She’s] 14 going on 40, like she’s been divorced twice or something,” Triple H quipped at his Hall of Fame induction ceremony in April 2025. “The fashion icon, telling everybody in the family what to wear. I don’t know if she’s going to be a pop star. She loves to sing, she loves to dance.”
