Lisa Vanderpump is teasing what’s next for Vanderpump Rules and its brand new cast.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 65, appeared for a panel at BravoCon 2025 on Saturday, Nov. 15, where she detailed the forthcoming 12th (and revamped) season of her long-running Bravo staple.
“It’s definitely got a different flavor,” Vanderpump told the audience. “It’s new, it’s funny, it’s fast. You’re going to see. But yeah, we’re not trying to recreate it. We did that, and I think we did that well. So this is something different.”
Bravo announced the newest installment of Vanderpump Rules in 2024, with the cast set to feature a new batch of employees at SUR beyond the familiar faces of Jax Taylor, Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval.
Over a year after season 11 wrapped in May 2024, Bravo teased a “new shift” for the show on Nov. 3 with the release of its first trailer and cast lineup. Per Bravo, the new season features the “deep-rooted, dynamic group of friends, frenemies and lovers that have been working for Lisa Vanderpump at SUR for years” now “shaking things up — from pump-tinis to chaos.”
“Despite new uniforms and a few fresh faces in the mix, the drama remains as messy and complicated as their iconic predecessors,” the network said via a synopsis for season 12.
The new cast members include Venus Binkley, Jason Cohen, Shayne Davis, Natalie Maguire, SUR newbie Angelica Jensen and several more, with Vanderpump herself returning as well.
“They’re a wild bunch,” Vanderpump said at BravoCon. “They’re a lot of fun. I like them all, for all their naughtiness and hi-jinks.”

While the reboot will certainly be full of fun, Vanderpump also promised that the new cast gets deep.
“Everyone has some kind of history,” she said. “We go quite deep emotionally with some of them. It’s very different to Vanderpump Rules where the problems became very serious. It became a more adult show.”

In a preview of the show that was shown at BravoCon, Vanderpump also called the new cast “naughtier, sexier, funnier” than the original stars. She said she knew “it was time” to move forward with a new cast.
“We had to deal with people not wanting to film with each other,” she said. “I always said, ‘I don’t want to go down on a sinking ship.'”
Vanderpump said that she “hopes this time next year” that her new cast members are all a “pain in the ass” because then she’ll know “the show is a success.”
Ahead of the new season, Bravo will also release its “Raise Your Glass to 11 Seasons” lookback special featuring Vanderpump and Andy Cohen as they reflect on over a decade of Vanderpump Rules. That airs on Nov. 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
“The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between,” Vanderpump said in a statement about the forthcoming season in July. “I can’t thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another.”
She added, “Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules.”
Vanderpump Rules season 12 will premiere on Dec. 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, with episodes available the following day on Peacock.
BravoCon, held at Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip, kicked off in Las Vegas on Friday, Nov. 14 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 16.
