NEED TO KNOW
Khloé Kardashian is shaking things up for this season of Khloé in Wonder Land, which is launching Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Last season, Kardashian’s guests were often experts on topics she was fascinated with, like wellness or self-help. This time, she’s getting more personal.
“What I am definitely doing more of this season is more solo episodes,” she tells PEOPLE. “Those did really, really well, where people sort of submitted topics they wanted me to talk about. People also wanted it to be more conversational, and before, the experts mostly did the talking. So this time, a lot of my guests will be family members, or people in my inner circle — people who are still really fascinating, but who are also comfortable engaging in a conversation with me.”
She adds, “Or who aren’t afraid to call me out on something! So it’s going to be a little looser, and not so talk show-y, if that makes sense.”

In season 1, the reality star got expert insight from those in the top of their field. “I really love to go down rabbit holes of very random different things,” she says of her past guests. “So it wasn’t ever focused on one category. It was really whatever I was fascinated with. Personally, I really loved talking to the self-help experts, but my audience wasn’t gravitating to that as much.”
Kardashian, 41, understands that the audience wants more of her, namely because so many of them have grown up with her on TV for so long.
“It’s been almost 20 years, if you can believe it,” she says of her family’s time on TV, which began with Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She’s currently starring on The Kardashians, and says that people do feel like they know her.
“I think I have the personality where I’m very approachable. I am very friendly and I love engaging with people,” she says. “So I lean in to that. If someone comes up to me and they talk to me as if they know me, I talk to them right back.”
She adds, “As long as we’re all nice and kind! If you also come up to me and you’re an asshole, I’ll be one right back to you. So I sort of match your energy. But I actually feel so honored that most people I meet are so sweet, and they’ve followed my journey. I’m normally dealing with such gracious, kind, respectful people.”
She says working on Khloé in Wonder Land has been one of the most fun things she’s done.

“I love it, And I love that I don’t have to be stuck to one format, like I would if I was doing a talk show or a TV show. With a podcast, I can be like, you know what? I didn’t love that energy or how it flowed. Let’s try it this way. And it’s so easy to adapt.”
Plus, Kardashian raves about her commute to work: all of seven minutes.
“I have a studio down the street from my house,” she says, laughing about her family’s presence in the Southern California enclave. “We’re slowly taking over Calabasas. They’re going to have to call it Kalabasas with a ‘K’ soon.”
Dear Media founder Michael Bosstick adds that the company is equally excited for the new season.
“We’re thrilled for the launch of the second season of Khloé in Wonder Land,” he says. “Khloé’s curiosity, authenticity, and ability to connect with her guests has resonated with viewers everywhere, and we can’t wait to continue sharing these inspiring and entertaining conversations.”
Khloé in Wonder Land, produced by Dear Media, returns on Nov. 12 and is available on iTunes or wherever you get your podcasts.
