NEED TO KNOW
Sebastian Maniscalco certainly knows how to work a crowd.
PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at the comedian’s upcoming stand-up special, It Ain’t Right, ahead of its Nov. 21 premiere on Hulu. In the hour-long show, Maniscalco “goes all in on family chaos, aging and the little things that drive us all nuts.”
The trailer begins with cheers from the bustling crowd as Maniscalco, 52, takes over the sold out United Center arena in his hometown of Chicago, arriving on a red Vespa. Once on stage, he uses the opportunity to poke fun at himself, revealing one of his slightly-unattractive sleeping habits.

“I have a mild case of sleep apnea,” he explains. “This is where I’m at. I’m going to duct tape my mouth shut so I don’t pass away in my sleep. If someone came to rob my house, they would look at me and go, ‘Someone was already here. Let’s go.’ ”
The Irishman actor also channels his self-deprecating humor with his next joke. “I went to a drug store today. I took out cash,” he says. “By the way, you take out cash nowadays, it’s like kryptonite. This kid was in his early 20s. He’s like, ‘What is that?’ I said, ‘It’s money. It’s used for goods and services.’ ”

Later, Maniscalco jokes about Jeff Bezos’ arc from “a complete nerd” 30 years ago to being “ripped to shreds on his super yacht.”
It Ain’t Right is part of Hulu’s “Hularious” lineup, and is written, performed and executive produced by Maniscalco. David Jammy, Lana Maniscalco, Chris Convy, Lindsay Goldfarb and Freddy Wexler also serve as executive producers, with Paul Dugdale as the director.

According to Billboard, Maniscalco’s tour has broken box office records, selling 361,000 tickets for 30 shows in the first six months of 2025 and grossing $35.5 million. In September 2024, he also set the record for a comic performing the most consecutive nights — five — at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
This marks Maniscalco’s seventh comedy special, following Sebastian Live (2009), What’s Wrong with People? (2012), Aren’t You Embarrassed? (2014), Why Would You Do That? (2016), Stay Hungry (2019) and Is It Me? (2022).
Sebastian Maniscalco: It Ain’t Right premieres on Friday, Nov. 21, on Hulu and with Hulu on Disney Plus.
