Benji Madden Reveals Which Musicians His and Cameron Diaz’s Daughter Loves

Benji Madden can’t help but expose his 5-year-old daughter to all genres of music.

The Good Charlotte member recently named a couple of his daughter Raddix’s favorite singers in an appearance on the popular TikTok series Track Star, a series that tests listeners’ music knowledge, alongside his brother Joel Madden.

Benji shares Raddix and son, Cardinal, 19 months old, with wife Cameron Diaz. 

After host Jack Coyne played Paramore’s “Misery Business,” Joel, 46, said, “Hayley (Williams’) is a star, man.” 

Benji, 46, then chimed in, “I have a daughter and she’s just getting [into] playing her stuff and whatever,” adding that Raddix “loves Paramore.”

Coyne then asked if Raddix is also a fan of Taylor Swift, and Benji confirmed that she is. He shared that, unfortunately, she wasn’t able to attend the Eras Tour. “She was a little young,” he explained.

While Raddix wasn’t able to catch the record-breaking tour, her cousin, Harlow, 17, was able to score some tickets, Joel said of his teen daughter. Joel shares Harlow and Sparrow, 16, with Nicole Richie.

“That s–t was expensive, bro,” Joel said.

Benji and Diaz have kept their children out of the public eye, and share few details about their two kids.

But the couple, who tied the knot in January 2015, have shared how much they enjoy being parents. They welcomed Raddix in December 2019 and their son in March 2024.

Soon after Raddix’s birth, Diaz, 53, shared in a July 2020 interview on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, that their little girl was “the best thing that ever happened to both Benj and me.”

During that same interview, Diaz first revealed how their daughter was a music fan, saying that they would play “Baby Shark, “Elmo’s Song” and Sesame Street “on rotation.”

“It’s crazy. We’re like jamming out over there, and she loves it,” Diaz shared.

Diaz added that her daughter’s music taste “changes,” and that she’s open to listening to new genres. “When we go on car drives, Benj will put on some Cuban, Afro-Cuban music, and she is in her car seat and her little legs are kicking … and I’m like, ‘Yep, that’s my girl!’, ” Diaz shared.

Also in July 2020, the actress revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone that Madden had already written several songs for his daughter. “We got ‘Baby Shark’ in the mix and of course Benj has written at least a dozen songs for [Raddix],” she said. “So we are doing serious upbeat and often a capella jams over here.”
