Jessica Simpson Reveals How Long Her ‘All’s Fair’ Prosthetics Transformation Took
Jessica Simpson was doing time in the makeup chair.
After the “Take My Breath Away” singer revealed her botched plastic surgery look for her role in Ryan Murphy’s All’s Fair, she detailed just how long it took to achieve her character LeAnn’s bad botox.
“It took an incredible village,” Jessica gushed in an Nov. 5 Instagram post, “and six hours in prosthetics!) to bring her to life for @hulu ‘s #AllsFair and wow… what a ride.”
Indeed, Jessica’s look included swollen cheeks, a nose piece, sunken eyes and oversized lips. And while she was transformed aesthetically for the worst, Jessica emphasized how grateful she was to dip her toe into acting with the role.
“No one has ever given me the chance to do something like this before, and I loved it,” she gushed. “I hope you all see Lee-Ann’s heart- and her strength—as much as I felt it.”
The Newlyweds alum emphasized her gratitude for Ryan, as well as director Anthony Hemingway and executive producers Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, adding, “You allowed me to disappear into a character with real depth and emotion.”
