NEED TO KNOW
The Dancing with the Stars contestants weren’t the only rockstars in the ballroom on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame night.
Plenty of familiar faces appeared backstage, rubbed shoulders with the stars and watched all the action go down on Tuesday, Nov. 4, when the reality competition series continued with a night of performances set to classic rock hits.
Before Danielle Fishel and partner Pasha Pashkov were sent home after their Contemporary routine to “Dream On” by Aerosmith, PEOPLE was on site to see who else made a splash in the ballroom and beyond.
Among the notable names in attendance were guest judge Flavor Flav, podcaster Jake Shane, Survivor legend Parvati Shallow, stars of Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum and a handful of players for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

During the show, multiple MLB stars made their way to the ballroom from their filming of a Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance.
After catcher Will Smith, outfielder Kiké Hernández, pitcher Tyler Glasnow, pitcher Blake Snell and team manager Dave Roberts all chatted about their latest World Series victory with Jimmy Kimmel, some of the team then traveled to the ballroom for a glimpse of the action. And yes, they brought their trophy with them, which they were pictured holding on Instagram.
The guys were joined by their loved ones too, including Smith’s wife Cara, as they walked by a group of cheering fans just days after their Saturday, Nov. 1 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.
Elsewhere during the show, Tanner Smith and Connor Tomlinson of Love on the Spectrum were seen greeting contestants backstage, as Tanner met and hugged both Robert Irwin and Whitney Leavitt, as well as her dance partner Mark Ballas.

Backstage, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Flavor Flav, lovingly screamed “crocodiles” to Irwin, as he made his way through with partner Witney Carson.
After the performance, Irwin told PEOPLE that he loves “the fact that we have a night celebrating the greats” in music. “I think that’s so cool because if there’s one thing that brings us together is that,” he says.
The contestants all participated in the team dance competition, where half of the crew danced to Kool & the Gang’s live performance of “Celebration,” while the other danced to Chicago’s live performance of “25 or 6 to 4.”
Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes insight on Nov. 11.
Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
