Ash K. Holm is a mother!
The celebrity makeup artist welcomed her first baby with her husband, Hamed Afshari, on Oct. 20, Holm shared in an Instagram post on Monday, Nov. 3.
“On 10•20•25, our hearts doubled in size,” Holm’s caption read. “Welcome baby Yara — the purest kind of love there is. 💖 ♎️ .” She also tagged photographer Stacey Blackwell.
Holm included a gallery of photos, beginning with a black-and-white picture of her holding Yara’s feet. Other pictures showed Yara and her mom cuddling in a hospital bed and Afshari holding Yara. The gallery also featured a photo of Yara’s tiny hand holding Holm’s finger.
Holm’s representative confirmed to PEOPLE on July 16 that the makeup artist — who is known for her work on Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian and Megan Fox — was pregnant, and shared a set of dreamy maternity photos.
For the shoot, the mom-to-be posed in a semi-sheer, pale yellow matching set, with one hand on her baby bump. Holm later shared a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot, which she captioned, “Like I said, I’m a mommy.”

Holm and her husband later hosted a baby shower, she shared on Sept. 17, which saw a dreamy baby-pink theme, from the flowers to umbrellas to balloons and table decor. Holm wore a flowy, white lace gown for the occasion, and the couple was joined by friends and family to celebrate the soon-to-be parents.
“Baby shower of our dreams,” Holm wrote in the post’s caption. “Feeling so loved and grateful to celebrate this special season surrounded by family, friends and so much beauty.”

On Oct. 1, Holm shared photos from another maternity shoot as she relished in the final weeks of her pregnancy. The makeup artist wore a long beige robe with puffy sleeves for the photos, commemorating her third trimester. “4 weeks💗,” Holm wrote in the caption.
Holm and Afshari wed in November 2017 in a ceremony in Mexico, she shared on Instagram at the time.
