Ariana Grande fans can start to “rejoicify” for the actress’ forthcoming “swankified” press tour looks for Wicked: For Good!
Speaking with PEOPLE in an exclusive interview, Law Roach teased what’s to come from Grande’s fashionable promotional blitz for the Wicked follow-up film.
“Oh, baby, there’s a mood board. There are hours and hours of fitting and laughing and swearing. It’s just a lot of daydreaming and imagination,” the stylist, 47, teased during the Anastasia Soare and Oprah Winfrey in Conversation at Raising Brows event in Los Angeles on Oct. 23.

Roach added of working with Grande, 32, and designers on outfits, “What people need to know about her is her gratitude and appreciation, one to be playing, you know, this role, but also, she’s so excited and grateful to the designers who are making these gowns and dresses for her.”
The celebrity stylist, who said that Grande “thanks them” whenever she talks to the designers on the phone, also emphasized how fun his styling sessions with the Oscar nominee have become over the years.
“We’re both Cancers,” Roach explained of their astrological signs. “We both have big personalities and really funny humor. It’s us making each other laugh, lots of jokes.”

When asked if he feels pressure to outdo press tour looks from the first film, Roach recalled his past experiences collaborating with Grande.
“No pressure at all,” Roach said. “Because Ari and I worked together for years before she became an actress. Well, she was an actress first, then she was a pop star, then she was an actress again. So we worked together.”
He added, “It’s just like coming back home, like two good friends reunited, and get to play in clothes — and a lot of clothes — which is so fun.”
Wicked: For Good — also starring Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, Marissa Bode, Bowen Yang, Ethan Slater and more — arrives in theaters on Nov. 21.
