NEED TO KNOW
Dylan Efron had a dance-related mishap — but he’s reassuring Dancing with the Stars fans that he’ll be ready for his next performance.
The Traitors alum, 33, shared a post on Instagram on Saturday, Oct. 25, that featured photos of his newly broken nose — an injury he suffered after his pro partner, Daniella Karagach, gave him an accidental elbow to the face.
“Broke my nose, but don’t need it to dance,” Dylan joked in the caption of his post.
The photos showed the reality TV star sitting in an emergency room chair holding an ice pack to his face.
“It’s midnight, and I’m in the hospital because Dani broke my nose. We were trying a new move, and I took an elbow right here,” he said in a video filmed in the hospital, pointing to his broken nose.
“And it made a really loud crack,” Dylan added. “So, not how I wanted to end the rehearsal day, but we’ll be back dancing tomorrow.”
In the caption, Dylan also thanked Karagach, DWTS pro Pasha Pashkov and fellow contestant Danielle Fishel for supporting him after his injury.
“I’m seriously all good — but I’ll never forget the way Dani, Pasha and Danielle WOULDN’T leave my side when it happened, warms my heart to have friends like them ❤️,” he wrote.
Other DWTS competitors and pros shared their love and support for Dylan in the comments section.
“Oh em gee,” dance pro Val Chmerkovskiy wrote in a comment, and fellow pro Mark Ballas added, “I hope you’re OK brother. sending you love.”
“WHAT?!! @dylanefron hope you’re OK,” pro Emma Slater chimed in.
Contestant Robert Irwin wrote: “What!!!!! Feel better mate.”
“Keep him in line @daniellakaragach,” Survivor alum “Boston” Rob Mariano teased in another comment.

As a nod to their brother Zac Efron, both Dylan and Olivia joined forces and danced to “Rewrite the Stars” from The Greatest Showman (performed by Zac, 38, and Zendaya in the film). The pair twirled together onstage before Karagach, 32, stepped in to finish the contemporary routine.
Dylan, Olivia and Karagach’s performance earned them 36/40 from the judges and plenty of high praise. Carrie Ann Inaba said Olivia was “incredible” and Dylan “made her night,” while Bruno Tonioli said Olivia had perfectly pointed toes.
“When I first asked [Olivia] if she would do this with me, she buried her head in my chest and was like, ‘No, there’s no way,’ ” Dylan recalled to PEOPLE after the performance. “And then she came to the first week and she told me after, she’s like, ‘I’m thinking about it.’ Week 2, she said she’ll do it and that she’s not afraid of anything. And then she showed up and actually didn’t get afraid of anything.”
Dylan is next set to appear on DWTS for Halloween Week, during which he’ll dance the Viennese Waltz to “Can’t Help Falling in Love (DARK)”, a cover of the Elvis Presley track from Tommee Profitt and Brooke.
DWTS airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
