Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman shared a public display of affection during a rare red carpet date night this week.
On Monday, Oct. 20, The Devil Wears Prada star, 42, was joined by her producer husband, 44, at the Golden Heart Awards 2025 at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York. The organization — which provides food to people suffering from severe and chronic illnesses — announced on Instagram that Hataway would be honored during the event with the Golden Heart Award for Outstanding Philanthropy and Volunteerism.
Hathaway wore an elegant black t-shirt with an asymmetric skirt, accessorized with a leather belt and a large clutch bag for the occasion. Shulman was equally polished in a cord blazer over a white shirt styled with suede boots.
The couple appeared smitten as they were photographed with Hathaway whispering in Shulman’s ear before both laughing.

Non-profit organization God’s Love We Deliver shared a video on their Instagram Stories of the moment that The Princess Diaries star was honored during the award ceremony.
“To live in New York, you have to have heart,” Hathaway told attendees. “Tons of it. Oceans of it. A heart turned up to 11.”
Hathaway and Shulman previously attended the 2024 National Board of Review Gala and the Valentino Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2023 show together. Their latest joint sighting comes almost a month after they celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary.
The couple are parents to two sons, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, 9, and Jack Shulman, 5, and earlier this year, Hathaway revealed to Vogue how much she loves “hanging out” at home with her family.

“Uno games, baking when there’s time, teaching the kids to dribble a basketball in the apartment without upsetting the neighbors,” Hathaway told the outlet about family time. As for Shulman, she added, “[I’m] so, so grateful husband is a great cook and an early riser.”
Hathaway previously shared what keeps her “admiring and loving” Shulman after over 15 years together.
“I think it’s a little bit the luck of the draw, but we’re really just lucky that we keep growing together,” she said during an appearance on the Drew Barrymore Show in 2023.
“But we have this thing — it’s actually a tattoo, and the idea is that individually, we’re whole, but together, we’re more,” Hathaway added. “And so I think it’s just that thing about I don’t expect him to complete me and he doesn’t expect me to complete him.”
