In a video shared to Instagram by Access Hollywood, Lopez, 56, is seen turning around during an interview on Monday, Oct. 6’s red carpet and seeing Affleck, 53, behind her. While Lopez spoke with the outlet’s reporter Emily Orozco about her childrens’ reaction to her performance in the her first movie-musical, Affleck walked into the frame with Lopez’s costar Tonatiuh from behind.
“Yes, they loved it,” Lopez said as Affleck called out to her and asked her to pose for a photo. “Hey, you’re here! Yes, I’ll get in the picture right now,” she said to Affleck, who’s an executive producer on the project.
Lopez turned back to the reporter to finish answering her question. “They’re excited, they invited their friend here tonight, so we’re all excited, we’re going to have a big family night,” she said. When the reporter noted that Affleck asked Lopez to take a photo, she said, “Yes, we’re gonna do a photo right now,” and moved over to greet Affleck and pose with him and Tonatiuh, 30.

Affleck’s supportive appearance — he and Matt Damon’s company Artists Equity co-produced the movie — follows their 2025 divorce. The former couple initially met in 2002 and began dating. After ending their engagement in 2004, they both pursued other relationships and started families of their own. Then in 2021, they rekindled their romance and they married in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022. The next month, they celebrated their nuptials with a second ceremony in Georgia in front of friends and family.
Lopez shares twins Max and Emme, 17, with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Affleck shares three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.

Lopez previously told CBS Sunday Morning on the program’s Sept. 28 episode that “the movie wouldn’t have been made if it wasn’t for [Affleck] and Artists Equity.” Kiss of the Spider Woman is an adaptation of the 1993 Broadway musical of the same name.
“I told him, ‘This is a role that I was born to play,’ and I wanted to do it, and he said ‘Okay,’ and he helped make it happen,” she said in that interview.
Kiss of the Spider Woman is in theaters Oct. 10.
