Cavill teased the new Highlander at CinemaCon in 2024, promising that he and his fellow filmmakers were “going deep into these characters,” as Deadline reported at the time. Referencing his work on fantasy-action series The Witcher, he quipped, “If you thought you’d seen me do sword work before, you haven’t seen anything yet.”
Among the other upcoming projects on Cavill’s plate are Enola Holmes 3, Rawson Marshall Thurber’s Voltron and Guy Ritchie’s In the Grey.
