Adam Sandler is bringing ’90s nostalgia to his comedy show!
Over the weekend, Sandler, 59, launched his You’re My Best Friend Tour in Florida and tapped friends Vanilla Ice and Kevin James for a performance of the 1990 hit “Ice Ice Baby.”
From Sept. 5-7, Sandler performed in Jacksonville, Tampa and Miami — and he treated all three crowds to the performance.
At the Tampa show, according to fan footage on TikTok, Sandler began by strumming the chords to “Ice Ice Baby” and asked: “Anybody on the sides want to help me out with a little rap?”
Then, Vanilla Ice, 57, appeared on stage and the crowd roared.
“It would be my pleasure to help out with this,” he said. “Everybody here is officially a teenager… we’re back in the ’90s right now.”
After the first chorus, James appeared on stage and started jumping and rapping along to the song. At one point, he even burst into an energetic dance break.

At another point in the performance, the trio was joined by Michelangelo from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” in reference to Vanilla Ice’s 1991 song “Ninja Rap.”
Before exiting the stage, Vanilla Ice yelled out, “You guys are teenagers until Monday morning.”
In 2012, Sandler and Vanilla Ice appeared in the actor’s comedy film That’s My Boy, where he played a fictional version of himself.
In June of that year, the rapper opened up to Glamour about working with Sandler on the film: “Adam was just amazing to work with and so down to earth. His office is a mess — he’s got kids’ toys every where. I felt right at home and I made a really good friend. We talk every other day. We play basketball together and hang out. He’s just like his characters Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison.”
Vanilla Ice is currently on the road for the I Love the 90’s Tour, which “invites attendees to reminisce about the trend-setting decade with some of the most iconic, indelible names in rap, hip hop and R&B, the tour’s website reads.
The tour — is set to conclude in Ocean City, Maryland, on Nov. 22 — features performances by Vanilla Ice, All 4 One, Color Me Badd, Tone Loc, Rob Base, Young MC, Treach of Naughty by Nature, Tag Team C+C Music Factory and more.
Meanwhile, Sandler will be on the road for his comedy tour through Nov. 1.
