With only 112 days until Christmas, it’s about time holiday movie presents start dropping. And UPtv’s 2025 lineup is full of treats.
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the network’s festive programming slate, which includes eight new movies — featuring stars like Joey Lawrence, Vivica A. Fox and Rob Mayes — a series and more than 50 days of Christmas cheer!
The festivities kick off on National Uplift Someone Day, Oct. 30, with a holiday movie marathon, and the new movies start rolling out on Nov. 2. The cable premiere of season 1 of The Christmas Checklist begins airing on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. ET/PT, and new episodes will air the following Saturdays.
“Our upcoming Christmas slate is all about capturing the joy and wonder of the holiday season, along with a little bit of that holiday magic everyone loves,” Crissie Miller, vice president of content strategy and acquisition at UP Entertainment, said in a statement. “Our movies are full of heart and laughter, perfect for cozy nights and festive traditions. We’re bringing our viewers a fresh take on holiday storytelling that’s warm, fun and unmistakably us. We are thrilled to kick off the holiday season on National Uplift Someone Day because what’s more uplifting than Christmas movies?”
