Travis Kelce is hyping up his fiancée’s new music!
The 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end teased Swifties with details about Taylor Swift’s recently announced 12th studio album — The Life of a Showgirl — during the Wednesday, Aug. 27 episode of he and brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast.
“I’m gonna go ahead and just keep poking the bear to all the Swifties,” he said during the episode. “I keep listening to this album. I know she mentioned that it’s gonna be a lot more pop beats, but it’s just still so poetic in her melodies and her references and stuff.”
He continued, saying, “It’s just so much fun to listen to, man. I’ve been dancing throughout the house.”

When Jason pressed Travis to name his favorite song on the album, Travis jokingly replied, “I’m not a politician, Jason.”
“I think ‘Opalite’ might be my favorite, though… At least now, every time it comes on, I always catch myself,” he went on to admit.
Asking for more details about the album, the retired Philadelphia Eagles star asked his brother what fans would be doing while listening to the album “in an ideal world.”
“Um, I mean, it’s music, Jason. You can listen to it at any time of the day. It’s good stuff,” Travis said, confirming that it can be played in the gym.
Travis proceeded to ask Jason what he liked to listen to while working out, with Jason confirming that his sister-in-law-to-be’s album 1989 in on his gym playlist.
“I’ve been doing some 1989 in my workouts recently. Gets the blood pumping. It’s that or [rock band] Metallica, which, I mean, a lot of differences, but…” Jason laughed
Travis also assured fans that The Life of a Showgirl would “make you move.”
Swift teamed up with the Kelce brothers to announce her new record, which is set to drop on Oct. 13during the Wednesday, Aug. 11 episode of New Heights.

The episode marked the pop titan’s first time ever appearing on a podcast, and it quickly shattered a Guinness World Record, earning the most concurrent views for a podcast on YouTube. At the time of publishing, the episode had been viewed more than 21 million times on the streaming service.
Joking about the record-breaking performance, Jason said that he “can pretty much guarantee everyone tuned into New Heights for our [brotherly] bond.”
Travis had a different explanation for the episode’s breakout success. “I think they tuned in because Taylor gave the world two hours that she’s never given them before,” he said, adding that his wife-to-be also “gave everybody a new album to get excited for.”

The Aug. 27 episode of New Heights comes less than a day after Travis and Swift revealed their engagement news with a joint post on Instagram.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” the pair captioned the major life update.
Since the news broke, details have emerged about Swift’s engagement ring, which was co-designed by Travis and is thought to be worth upwards of $5 million.
The flowers used in Travis’ stunning garden engagement shoot are also thought to be worth up to $38,000.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Ashley Greer — a florist and owner of the D.C.-based Atelier Ashley Flowers — hypothesized that the massive arrangement likely required 800 pounds of greenery as well as around 1,200 roses and approximately 1,000 other flowers.

“Pulling imagery from so many of [Swift’s] songs, a magical garden scene is constructed amidst August forest trees,” Greer said, highlighting the use of plants such as willow, ivy, and roses.
Despite the podcast episode airing so soon after the big reveal, there was only a brief mention of the engagement at the very beginning of the show.
“There is one gigantic piece of new news that just hit the waves,” Jason said. “We did record this podcast on Monday, which was Travis’ one day off. So, he is not here to address this himself, but we felt it necessary as a team here at New Heights to get together and send Travis and Taylor a giant congratulations for being engaged! The proposal heard ‘round the world!”
