Kailyn Lowry is in recovery mode.
The Teen Mom alum—who is mom to Elliott, 15, Lincoln, 11, Lux, 7, Creed, 4, Rio, 2, and twins Verse and Valley, 22 months—took fans inside her recent chin surgery by sharing photos and videos from the cosmetic procedure.
“A scrapbook of saying goodbye to my double chin,” Kailyn captioned her Aug. 24 Instagram carousel post. “#kailandchaos #transformationinprogress #glowup.”
While the primary picture showed the reality star sleeping in bed with bandages completely covering her head, there were additional videos that showed her in the hospital ahead of the surgery, including one of a doctor drawing markings on her face.
In one of the clips, the 33-year-old said, “Rest in peace to my double chin.”
She also shared a video of herself eating ice cream in bed as she told the camera, “This is day one post op.”
Kailyn responded to some fan feedback in the comment section of her post, teasing that more details on the procedure were “coming soon” and acknowledging that it’s possible for her “double chin” to return.
