Jennifer Lopez is moving forward, one year after filing for divorce from ex-husband Ben Affleck.
The star, who turned 56 in July, has remained busy in the year since her marriage to Affleck, 53, ended, premiering new movies and hitting arenas across the globe for this summer’s “Up All Night Tour.”
The tour has been treating Lopez well, as a source tells PEOPLE, “She’s been having the time of her life this summer.”
“She loved connecting with fans all over the world. The tour was amazing. It’s been a great focus for her. She’s been doing what she really enjoys,” the source says about the performer, who is also mom to 17-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Lopez will also soon start promoting her upcoming movie musical Kiss of the Spider Woman.
“This is the movie she filmed last year in New York when she and Ben were going through a difficult time. She’s come a long way since. She’s very happy and just grateful for her life,” says the source.
In the weeks after Lopez’s divorce filing, she appeared at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote wrestling biopic Unstoppable, in which she starred and Affleck produced.

Lopez and Matt Damon, also a producer on the project, appeared together at the festival to promote the movie, where she told PEOPLE the film dealt with “complicated dynamics about life that I understand really well.”
She kicked off 2025 by attending Variety‘s Creative Impact Awards event in January, where she was presented with the Legend and Groundbreakers award in honor of Unstoppable and for her overall career achievement.
Lopez and Affleck, who’d listed April 26, 2024, as their date of separation, officially finalized their divorce in early January.
That same month, Lopez attended the world premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman at the Sundance Film Festival.
Lopez stars with Diego Luna and Tonatiuh in the film adaptation of the 1993 Broadway classic, and it marks Lopez’s first time appearing in a movie musical. She said she’d been “waiting for this moment my whole life” during a Q&A at Sundance.
Kiss of the Spider Woman will open in theaters Oct. 10. After that, Lopez will next appear onscreen in a Netflix romantic comedy opposite Ted Lasso’s Brett Goldstein, titled Office Romance.
Office Romance is directed by Ol Parker, the filmmaker behind 2022’s Ticket to Paradise and 2018’s Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. The cast includes Betty Gilpin, Tony Hale, Bradley Whitford, Amy Sedaris and Jackie Sandler, as Netflix announced in April. “This is gonna be a fun one,” Lopez wrote on Instagram in March, when she posted photos from production.

In April, PEOPLE confirmed that Lopez will star in a feature adaptation of Liv Constantine’s 2017 novel The Last Mrs. Parrish, directed by Robert Zemeckis. Lopez is also a producer on the movie, which does not yet have a release date.
The singer kicked off her latest concert tour on July 9 in Galicia, Spain. The tour took Lopez through much of Spain and a number of other European countries, ending with a performance in Sardinia on Aug. 12.
As for the rest of this year, Lopez is taking “Up All Night” to Las Vegas to send 2025 out and ring in 2026 for a residency that will run from Dec. 30 through Jan. 3 — with more dates in March — at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Lopez announced the residency in May.
