Katie Holmes Keeps Wearing Laidback Fall Outfits on Set

I spy with my little eye Katie Holmes in one of the easiest — and comfiest — outfits I can’t wait to copy this fall.

The actress has been spotted repeat-wearing layered tops and wide-leg pants on the set of her new movie, Happy Hours. It’s the first installment of a new cinematic trilogy that Holmes wrote and is both directing and starring in alongside her Dawson’s Creek co-star Joshua Jackson. 

Her laidback outfit recipe consists of three capsule wardrobe staples: a basic tee, button-down overshirt, and wide-leg pants. Holmes recently wore a fitted top underneath a long plaid flannel with pleated trousers, as well as patchwork wide-leg jeans and a striped button-down shirt layered over a T-shirt.
