NEED TO KNOW
The Love Island USA season 7 reunion has officially been taped, and according to host Andy Cohen, it’s going to be a good one.
The cast of the hit Peacock series reunited in New York City on Tuesday, Aug. 12, to film the reunion, which Cohen hosted alongside Love Island USA host Ariana Madix.
While little is known about what went down when the Islanders were all back together and put on the spot, Cohen, 57, gave fans a bit of an inside scoop on how filming was going on his Instagram Stories.
The Bravo host checked in with fans during a break in filming the reunion, which appeared to go later than expected.
“Guys, Love Island reunions are no joke,” Cohen said in a post on his Instagram Stories from the studio. “We are on dinner break. It is 9:45. We’re going back in there soon.”

“This reunion — it’s good,” he teased of how filming was going.
Cohen also seemed to weigh in on speculation that certain season 7 stars, including Huda Mustafa, weren’t returning for the reunion, as he said, “And everybody’s here.”
Getting to host alongside Madix, 40, who got her start on Vanderpump Rules, was another fun, full-circle moment for Cohen. “I’m having so much fun with Ariana. She’s amazing, and you know what? I like doing, I like hosting a reunion with her. It’s really fun!”
Given how late filming was going, Cohen ended the video by saying he needed “some coffee or something” to keep him up.
Filming didn’t end until 11 p.m., and Cohen shared another update once he left the studio.
In another post on his Instagram Stories, he shared a video from outside the studio where the reunion was filmed to show the group of fans waiting outside.
“We wrapped, it’s 11:00. Look at this — Love Island fans!” he said.

“Wow! We don’t get fans in front of Housewives reunions. What the hell, man?” he said, referring to the large crowd, to whom he said, “Good job, everybody.”
As the fans cheered, he offered a bit of a teaser of what’s to come. “It was a great reunion, just so you know.”
Fans have deduced which Islanders are not likely to be featured in the reunion based on social media posts from the last few days.
While most of the major players from this season, including winners Amaya and Bryan — along with couples Nic and Olandria, Ace and Chelley, Pepe and Iris, Taylor and Clarke — and many of the dumped Islanders — Belle-A, Jeremiah, Austin, TJ, Hannah, Charlie and Andreina — have been seen out and about in New York City and have been posting about the reunion, some stars are notably absent.

Among them is Zak, whom Amaya coupled up with after Casa Amor, but ultimately dumped. Following their win, Amaya and Bryan told PEOPLE that they wanted to address Zak’s social media activity during the reunion, since he’d been posting about Amaya quite a lot.
“I don’t know what is going on,” Amaya, 25, said. “He needs to stop talking. That man must be really bored.”
“Why do you have to keep on speaking about me or Bryan or both of us? Talk about your favorite color, my guy,” she said.
“We definitely want to address the Zak K situation on both of our parts, just because, yeah, I’m not really agreeing with the s— he’s saying,” Bryan, 28, added.
“I think he’s forgetting certain conversations we had prior,” he said. “So [I’ve] got to remind him about those conversations.”
