Marieangela King has found a win amid her divorce battle with estranged husband Elijah Blue Allman.
On Friday, Aug. 8, a court order for a hearing obtained by PEOPLE from Los Angeles Superior Court stated that King, 38, is set to receive $6,500 a month in spousal support from Allman, 49.
The court documents claimed that Allman had “not filed responses to the initial Dissolution petition or to today’s Request for Order.”
“The Court also finds that service was effectuated in a timely manner and therefore, the Court can proceed with a ruling without the Respondent present,” the order read.
Allman was ordered to pay King $6,500 per month in spousal support, “payable one-half on the first and one-half on the 15th of each month.” The payments are set to begin Friday, Aug. 15, and the court requested that retroactive payments dating back to July 1 be paid within 30 days.
PEOPLE has reached out to reps for Allman and King but they did not immediately respond to comment.

In court documents filed on June 20 and obtained by PEOPLE, King claimed she’s been unable to currently support herself and requested “temporary spousal support” that is “below my marital standard.”
At the time, she requested $6,500 per month to cover basic living expenses and a car, in addition to $10,000 to hire an attorney.
In the declaration, King said she wasn’t “requesting excess or luxury.”
“I am requesting the Court’s help in obtaining clarity and fairness, because without full financial disclosure and the ability to respond, I cannot safely or meaningfully engage in these proceedings,” she stated.
She also brought Allman’s famous mother, Cher, into the case, claiming the pop icon helped fund their “lifestyle” before they split.
King requested spousal support and for her attorney’s fees to be covered in the filing, alleging that she experienced “a high standard of living” — including traveling in Europe and staying in 5-star hotels, flying first and business class aboard airplanes and having access to “private pools, gyms, chefs, maids, [and] a therapist” — while they were married.
Per the filing, King listed her occupation as a “singer/songwriter/entertainer, housewife” and claimed that she would need a “minimum of 10 years work” at an “executive level salary” in order to sufficiently support herself “at the marital standard.”
She also claimed that Allman “receives regular payments” from music residuals, trust funds and “major contributions coming to him from family and his mother,” adding that he is able to reside at family properties and his needs are met, unlike hers, and that she has “been a homemaker and supportive spouse for the past 13 years” to Allman. She also noted that it will “take time” for her to return to the workforce and earn the “marital standard.”
King also alleged that Allman was receiving “a minimum of 20,000 [dollars] a month from two separate accounts” and at the end of the filing claimed that “financial support directly from his mother” was used to fund their lifestyle.
At the time, a rep for Cher, 79, did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
King claimed that she currently has only $3,651.96 in liquid assets to her name in a separate June 20 filing obtained by PEOPLE.
Allman and King tied the knot in December 2013. In March, King filed for divorce from Allman, citing irreconcilable differences.
“We had a beautiful 13-year journey, filled with memories I’ll always cherish. I know we’ll remain friends, and Elijah will always hold a special place in my heart,” King told PEOPLE in a statement at the time.
She continued: “As we turn the page to this next chapter, we kindly ask for privacy and truly appreciate your understanding.”
King previously filed for divorce from Allman in 2021, however, in January 2024, Allman filed to dismiss it “without prejudice.” (It was granted that February.)
On June 14, Allman was hospitalized after authorities noted he was “acting erratically.” A source told PEOPLE that Cher was doing “everything she can to help her son and help him get well.”
King told PEOPLE that she would “always root” for Allman “without hesitation.”
“My support is steadfast and comes from a place of deep respect for the person he is and the resilience he continues to show,” she added.
Days later, Allman was released from the hospital.
