The tour date postponement comes weeks after she and Lindsey Buckingham teased a project from their former musical duo Buckingham Nicks. The musicians posted coordinating lyrics from their 1973 song “Frozen Love” on Instagram, which sent fans into a frenzy about what was happening.
Nicks and Buckingham, 75, are reissuing their eponymous 1973 album this September. “Buckingham Nicks is available for pre-order now, out September 19th. ✨,” she wrote on Instagram on July 23.
In April, during the Pollstar Awards, where Nicks was inducted into the Pollstar Hall of Fame, she revealed that she was working on a new album. The “Landslide” singer referred to the album, which would be her 14th, her “ghost record.”
“It just really kinda happened in the last couple of weeks because of, you know, the fires,” she said, alluding to the Los Angeles wildfires that devastated California in January, which she had to evacuate for.
“I was sitting in a hotel for 92 days, and at some point during that last part of the 92 days, I said, ‘You know what? I feel like I’m on the road, but there’s no shows.”

“I’m just sitting here by myself because everybody else is at the house, doing all the remediations and everything, and it’s just me, sitting here.’ And I thought, ‘You need to go back to work.’ And I did.”
At that point, Nicks had worked on seven songs, noting that the upcoming record would be “autobiographical, real stories where I’m not pulling any punches for probably the first time in my life.”
