The Final Destination Bloodlines streaming release date has been revealed. The long-running horror franchise was revived back in May with a new installment that flipped the script on Death’s typical machinations. It starred Kaitlyn Santa Juana as Stefani, a college student whose grandmother evaded Death years before, and now faces the destruction of her whole family.
As the sixth movie in the franchise, expectations were high, but the film surpassed them. Final Destination Bloodlines earned the best reviews of the entire series, scoring a fantastic 93% Rotten Tomatoes score and raking in over $285 million worldwide.
Now, Final Destination Bloodlines will soon finish its journey home. HBO Max has confirmed the movie will arrive on the streaming platform on Friday, August 1. It will then premiere on HBO proper on Saturday, August 2 at 8PM EST. All five prior Final Destination movies are available to stream on HBO Max.
What This Means For Final Destination Bloodlines
It’s The Last Stop On A Very Successful Run
In earning $285 million on a reported budget of $50 million, Final Destination Bloodlines became a box office hit that few could’ve anticipated, and it did so with glowing reviews. The movie will now hit streaming a little over two months after it debuted in theaters, well after its theatrical run has slowed down.
The HBO Max debut will simply be the cherry on top of a very successful rollout. Those who were perhaps wary of spending money on the movie, maybe because of the franchise’s less-than-stellar critical reputation, can finally check out the movie for free from the comfort of their own homes, as long as they have an HBO Max subscription.

Final Destination Bloodlines can reach a brand-new audience this way, and its close proximity to the other Final Destination movies could lead to an increased viewership for the entire franchise. This is a common occurrence with streaming releases, and it can only benefit the entire horror franchise.
Our Take On Final Destination Bloodlines’ Streaming Release
Could It Finally Get Final Destination 7 Announced?
Though nothing has been announced just yet, it seems likely that there will be a Final Destination 7, and the streaming release of Bloodlines could help make it a reality. After the box office grosses, substantial viewership on streaming can show Warner Bros. how big of an audience the franchise has, prompting the studio to greenlight another movie.
Directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein have alluded to some ideas they have for the future of the series. Outside of Ryan Coogler’s acclaimed Sinners, Final Destination Bloodlines is the biggest horror movie of 2025 so far, and its streaming release next week will surely see renewed excitement as more people get to watch it.
