Layla Taylor’s love life continues to be full of interesting twists and turns.
In response to ongoing speculation from fans, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star has seemingly teased a relationship with Mason McWhorter. PEOPLE has reached out to reps for Layla and Mason, but did not receive an immediate response.
On Tuesday, July 15, in an Instagram post shared by Layla, the two appear with their arms around each other in the third photo of the carousel.
“Had to make you guys search for it a little,” she joked about the photo’s placement in the comments.
Mason is Chase McWhorter’s brother, while Chase is Layla’s costar Miranda McWhorter’s ex-husband.

In mid-June, Mason mentioned a few women from the show, as well as Chase’s most recent girlfriend Kate Racker in a video shared on TikTok. While it’s unclear if Kate and Chase are still an item, Mason pointed out that his brother was “pulling” beautiful women. Layla commented, “It’s ok you can skip my name.”
Layla has also appeared in Mason’s comments, with comments on a modeling photo serving as fans’ first hint the two were a possible item. “Ur cute,” she commented on photos.

Meanwhile, Mason took credit for one of Layla’s photos in her June photo dump, writing, “Whoever took that 4th pic did a great job.” She replied, “He really did.”
Layla also appeared on Mason’s Instagram, with a photo of the pair posing with another couple in front of a Topgolf as part of a post captioned, “pre/post 4th shenanigans.”
Layla’s new relationship comes after season 2 featured the influencer’s brief relationship with Cameron. By the time the season had premiered, however, the two went their separate ways.
Both Layla and Miranda spoke with PEOPLE about dating earlier this year, with Layla sharing, “I think I’m not opposed to it, if something naturally comes into my life, then awesome.”
“But I’m not actively seeking out, like Miranda said. Definitely you have to be kind of wary of people that come into your life when we’re at a height in our career and [as] public figures, I feel like you definitely have to be like, ‘What are your intentions kind of leading into this relationship?’ ” she continued, concluding, “I do feel like it’s pretty easy to sniff it out, weed them out.”
