NEED TO KNOW
Gabby Windey is setting sail on a brand-new adventure.
On Monday, July 14, Hulu announced that Windey, 34, will host its upcoming dating series, Love Overboard.
The show, which was originally announced under the working title Overboard for Love, marks the first foray into reality TV for Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper. The podcaster is an executive producer on the series under her production company, Unwell Productions.
Love Overboard will bring together a group of singles and put them to the test.
Per the official logline, the upcoming unscripted series follows a group of “sexy singles” who are “ready to mix and mingle and find love” while aboard an “ultimate luxury yacht.”
Things aren’t all love and lemons onboard, though, as a juicy twist sends the contestants for a loop: “gaining access to the yacht’s extravagant amenities won’t be so simple.”

“As the journey unfolds, romance ignites; alliances form; and hearts are shattered. In the end, only one couple will reign supreme,” reads the logline. “Who will rise to the top, and who will be left stranded?”
Cooper gave Windey the ultimate stamp of approval to host the brand-new series, a first for the Call Her Daddy star.
In a clip shared on Instagram, Windey, 34, celebrated the announcement that she’ll be hosting the series.
“We’re setting sail with Hulu’s newest reality show,” she said while onboard the yacht where the show was filmed. “And I’m your host! Let’s make some waves.”
In a comment under the post, Cooper, 30, wrote of Windey, “NO ONE BETTER 👏🏻👏🏻.”
The Hulu series marks Windey’s first time hosting a TV show.
Though she has plenty of experience being in front of the camera when it comes to reality TV, Love Overboard is a first for Windey.
She got her start on season 26 of The Bachelor and was one of Clayton Echard’s runners-up. From there, she and Rachel Recchia went on to co-lead a season of The Bachelorette together.
She’s since gained fame in a whole new way thanks to her winning turn on The Traitors earlier this year.
Windey was one of four winners of the Peacock series’ third season, and walked away with a hefty $204,300 sum that she split with fellow winners Dolores Catania, Dylan Efron and Ivar Mountbatten.
Joining the show wasn’t an easy yes for her, though. “I said no to Traitors at first. It took me maybe ten months to say yes. Then it just made sense, and it felt right,” she told PEOPLE for this year’s World’s Most Beautiful issue. “Even with the podcast, I didn’t want to do that either. I don’t want to do anything. Now, it’s turned into such a love of mine, and such an expression.”

“I think whatever I do next will be at the right time, the right thing. Always, people want to know what’s next, but I just got here,” she said at the time.
“I’m like, ‘Oh my God. Then I have to think about what’s next?’ But I am just trying to rest and revel in what’s going on right now.”
