Orlando Bloom and his daughter spent some time together in Australia before news of his split from Katy Perry went public.
A source tells PEOPLE that the Pirates of the Caribbean star, 48, recently spent time with his 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove in Australia, where Perry, 40, is currently playing for her Lifetimes tour. “They had special dad and daughter time,” the insider says.
“Daisy’s very cute. Orlando was in a great mood and made every outing fun for her,” they continue. “He looked like a very caring dad.”

Bloom is also dad to son Flynn, 14, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
On June 26, PEOPLE confirmed that Bloom and Perry had gone their separate ways.
The couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019 when Bloom got down on one knee, Perry revealed during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
“Orlando had planned this for a while,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “He wanted it all to be special.” He even asked for her parents’ approval beforehand.
The couple then announced that they were expecting a baby in the singer’s music video for “Never Worn White” in March 2020. In August of that year, the couple welcomed their baby girl, Daisy Dove.
A year later, Perry told PEOPLE that motherhood was “just the best in the world. It’s the game-changer.” She added, “My heart is so full, finally.”

Shortly before Bloom and Perry officially called off their engagement, a source told PEOPLE that things between the two hadn’t been solid for a while.
“They’re pretty much done,” a source said at the time, adding that they “don’t really see them being able to turn things around here.”
The source added, “It’s been breaking down the last couple of months and isn’t looking good.”
Although Perry has yet to publicly comment on separating from her longtime partner Bloom, she has shared posts on Instagram over the past few weeks featuring her daughter Daisy.
In one carousel on Instagram, Perry could be seen meeting Bluey and Bingo from the Australian children’s television show Bluey alongside her daughter. In one snap, Perry wore dog ears like Bingo’s, holding hands with Bluey and Bingo in front of a forest backdrop. A second photo showed her daughter wearing a glittery Bluey dress, holding her stuffed animal in hand.
“AUS side quest tiddly bits weee 🤸🏻♀️🇦🇺,” Perry wrote in her caption.
