Rebel Wilson’s wife Ramona Agruma prefers a quieter life.
When Wilson, 45, spoke with Entertainment Tonight at the Los Angeles premiere of the wedding action-comedy Bride Hard on Wednesday, June 18, the actress said she brought her stunt double Meredith Richardson as her plus-one for the evening “because she worked her butt off” on the film.
“She actually runs through and jumps through a glass window, down two stories, through a van and onto a wedding cake,” Wilson said. “So from doing that stunt alone I was like she’s got to be my plus-one for tonight. But Ramona’s at home with the baby.”
Wilson and Agruma, who began dating publicly in 2022 and married in September 2024, are parents to Wilson’s daughter Royce Lillian, whom the Pitch Perfect actress welcomed via surrogate in November 2022.
“Weirdly, Ramona has a cameo in the movie. She plays a Russian scientists, so look out for her, she’s got a small tiny cameo playing a badass Russian scientist,” the actress added. “She has no desires to be a Hollywood movie star, obviously, she much prefers to be at home with the baby.”

Wilson recently discussed Agruma’s reaction to learning that Wilson was having a baby during her June 4 appearance on the Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast. During that episode, Wilson noted that she told Agruma her surrogate was expecting a child early in their relationship.
“So very, very, very early in dating, like three months into dating Ramona, I had to tell her, ‘So I have a surrogate and it turns out the surrogate’s pregnant,’ ” she recalled, noting it was a “huge thing” to discuss early into their relationship.

“Ramona just turned to me, was sitting at my kitchen table, and she said, ‘I love you and I’m gonna love your child just as much,’ ” Wilson added at that time. “I was so shocked. It’s like she didn’t even think about it. She just went, ‘Oh, that’s amazing news.’ “
During that interview, Wilson said Agruma “has been the best mother” to Royce Lilian. “She’s way better than me. She’s the most kind, caring, nurturing, and I was so lucky.”
Bride Hard stars Wilson as a secret agent whose work interferes with attending her childhood best friend’s wedding when a group of armed mercenaries crash the party. The film, in theaters now, also stars Anna Camp, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Anna Chlumsky, Gigi Zumbado, Stephen Dorff and Justin Hartley.
