NEED TO KNOW
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are headed to the altar!
The “One Kiss” singer and the British actor were first romantically linked in January 2024 and stepped out on numerous PDA-filled outings in the months to follow.
Engagement rumors were sparked that December when she posted photos on Christmas Eve wearing a diamond ring, but it wasn’t until a conversation with British Vogue that was published on June 12 that the singer confirmed the news.
“Yeah, we’re engaged. It’s very exciting,” she said. “This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling.”
A few days before the confirmation, Lipa shared an affectionate photo with Turner on Instagram showing off a sparkling diamond ring, captioned, “That’s amoreeee… ♡.”
So, who is Dua Lipa’s fiancé? Here’s everything to know about Callum Turner and his relationship with the singer.

Turner grew up in the Chelsea neighborhood of London, raised by his mom, who was a club promoter in the West End, per GQ. According to the outlet, he was brought up as an only child, as his half-brother and half-sister were raised in Australia.
He told GQ in March 2024 that his childhood goal was to be a soccer player, but he ultimately gave up on the dream when he was 17 years old.
“I wasn’t good enough,” Turner said. “I didn’t know I had to put in as much effort as the others. And I didn’t.”

While Lipa shines in stadiums and on stages, Turner is seasoned on the big screen. The actor is known for his roles in 2015’s Green Room and 2023’s The Boys in the Boat.
He additionally starred in 2021’s The Last Letter from Your Lover, as well as the Apple TV+ series Masters of the Air, in which he appeared alongside Austin Butler.
During a 2018 conversation with Flaunt Magazine, Turner opened up about absorbing all there is to learn from every costar and crew member he’s worked alongside.
“Everyone that you come into contact with, you take something from them,” he said. “I’m hungry for information. Whether that’s reading Jane Eyre or a book on spirituality or space. I’m just hungry for as much culture as possible. Acting allows that to happen quickly.”
Although Turner has come a long way since starting his career, the actor told the Gentlemen’s Journal in 2024 that he wants to stay grounded: “I hope there’ll never be a point when I feel like I’ve made it,” he said.
“I don’t want there to be a point where I feel like I’m jaded with it or bored of it,” he said. “I just want to keep doing the thing I love, and I really love making movies and being characters and researching worlds and parts and people.”
Turner added, “My job’s so fascinating. You’ve got to really want it, really believe in it, really care. I love that responsibility to myself.”

Lipa confirmed the news while speaking to British Vogue, sharing that Turner had the ring custom made after consulting with her best friends and sister.
“I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me,” she said. “It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
The singer also shared that they won’t be rushing down the aisle anytime soon.
“I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period,” Lipa said. “I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’ ”
