Scott Wolf shared a cryptic post in the weeks leading up to his split from wife Kelley Wolf.
On May 25, less than a month before the couple announced their divorce after 21 years of marriage, the actor, 57, shared a cryptic video about getting through challenging times. The Instagram post did not include a caption, but it featured clips of spiritual images and a voiceover of advice on self-enlightenment.
“Your lowest point is the doorway to your highest self,” the narrator said. “For when the heart breaks, something far deeper is taking place than mere misfortune. We often don’t realize the value of the darkness until it has passed. For only in the absence of light that we learn to become the light. The human mind seeks comfort but the soul stirs for change. It longs to grow, not to stay the same.”

“As I’ve said before, the meaning of life is just to be alive,” it continued. “And yet we resist the very currents that are pulling us into deeper awareness of that aliveness. You’re not here to chase happiness like a dog chasing its tail. Happiness is a byproduct of becoming whole. Wholeness requires continuous dark and light. Sorrow and joy. Breaking and rebuilding. So when it hurts, let it hurt. Don’t run. Sit with it. Listen to it. And when you finally rise from it, you’ll realize the joy was never in the outcome, but in the transformation.”
It concluded: “Feed the soul, not the ego. Choose evolution over escape. And the light you’re searching for will no longer be something you can find. It will be something you are.”

Kelley revealed she and Scott were divorcing on Tuesday, June 10.
Two weeks after Scott’s post, Kelley, 48, took to social media to reveal their divorce in a lengthy statement.
“It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage,” she wrote. “This has been a long, quiet journey for me—rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children. While I will not speak publicly about the details, I feel peace knowing that I’ve done everything I can to walk this path with integrity and compassion.”
“Scott Wolf is one of the best fathers I’ve ever known and one of the best partners a woman could have the privilege of sharing life with,” she continued. “He is kind, thoughtful, funny, and beautiful in spirit. We both look forward to an extraordinary life centered around the most extraordinary children. My priority has always been their wellbeing—and my own healing. That will never change.”
The caption concluded: “I am stepping into a chapter of peace, freedom, and protection—with grace. Thank you to the many friends, family, and professionals who have held space for me with love. Please respect our privacy during this time. May we all remember: healing isn’t loud. It’s sacred. 🤍.”

Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”
