Megan Moroney is bringing her diamond-encrusted style to Nashville’s bar scene!
The CMA Award-winning singer/songwriter, 27, has unveiled her latest creative endeavor in Music City: a multi-level takeover of the L27 rooftop bar at The Westin Hotel that she has aptly named The Emo Cowgirl.
The high-rise bar has been decked out in Moroney’s signature glam, with massive pink bows adorning walls, hot pink ribbons draped from ceilings and rhinestones adorning every conceivable angle of the space.
Moroney appeared at the VIP opening of the space, donning her signature rhinestone-encrusted guitar to perform a sweet medley of hits such as “Bless Your Heart,” “Man on the Moon,” “No Caller ID,” “I’m Not Pretty,” “Break It Right Back” and “Am I Okay?” During her performance, she touched on the inspiration behind the bar and the funny story behind her first experience in the space long before it became The Emo Cowgirl, reflecting on “faceplanting” after too many drinks at the bar.

“I was really drunk when I got up on the elevator,” she told fans during her performance, adding, “I didn’t eat lunch that day.” Nonetheless, the space stuck with Moroney, who later joked with fans that she “loves oversharing” about her experiences.
Furthermore, Moroney dished that she was at the bar that fateful day with the individual who inspired her to write “Break It Right Back,” before breaking into a performance of the hit track.

Along with the decor, The Emo Cowgirl’s menu is Moroney through and through, with drink offerings including the “Spicy Meg,” which contains jalapeno-infused Cazadores, lime and agave. The “Georgia Girl” is made up of sauvignon blanc, sweet tea, triple sec peaches and raspberries, and the “Wonder”is a concoction of Bombay Dry, Cointreau, lemon, grenadine and soda.
Appetizing small bites are abundant at Moroney’s pop-up as well, with savory flatbread pizzas, a plate aptly titled “Girl Dinner,” which includes traditional Caesar salad with grilled chicken, served with a side of fries, a buttermilk bourbon fried chicken sandwich that features bourbon-brined chicken thigh, green tomato chow-chow slaw, pickled red onions, hot honey and pimento aioli on a sweet potato bun, as well as sweet tea glazed beignets that are topped with sweet tea lemon icing and powdered sugar.

Fans in attendance were treated to a slew of Moroney-inspired memorabilia, including free sashes as well as the option to purchase the singer’s signature merchandise via Megan’s Closet, a retail space featuring exclusive shirts, hoodies, hats and limited-edition boots from her collaboration with Lane Boots.
Moroney’s new bar will be open to the public at The Westin Hotel through August 31. For pop-up hours or to book a table at the space, fans are encouraged to head to theemocowgirl.com.
