The Kid LAROI is praising his girlfriend Tate McRae.
In an interview with ELLE Magazine published on Thursday, June 5, the “Stay” singer opened up about how much he admires the “Sports Car” artist.
“She’s the hardest working artist I’ve ever met in my entire life,” said LAROI, 21, of McRae, 21, “And I don’t say that because she’s my girlfriend.”
He continued: “Seeing how hard she works inspires and encourages me to follow along and do the same. There’s something really, really motivating about that—and really attractive as well.

Elsewhere in the interview, LAROI opened up about how McRae influences his sartorial choices.
While he thinks he has “okay style,” the “Too Much” musician “always” asks the “Greedy” hitmaker for “opinions.”
“But I think over the years I’ve definitely got a lot better with my personal style,” he said. “I think I figured out what I look good in and what I don’t.”
Added LAROI: “I went through a phase when I just wanted to buy designer, with the biggest logos you could see. Once I got over that, I started figuring out what fits me a little better, what I look better in. I’m getting pretty dialed in.”

After several public sightings together, McRae and LAROI initially sparked dating rumors in early last year, but it wasn’t until April 2024 that the latter seemingly confirmed their relationship status.
During his April 14 show in Dublin, LAROI confirmed that “his girlfriend” was in the audience, where McRae was watching from the side stage.
In July 2024, the couple made their romance Instagram official — nearly a year after McRae’s split from hockey player Cole Sillinger.
LAROI previously dated TikTok star Katarina Deme from 2020 until the two broke up in 2023.
