NEED TO KNOW
Travis Kelce knows how to play to the crowd.
The 35-year-old NFL star opened up about a future DJ set list featuring his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s music during the June 4 episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast.
The Kelce brothers had Shaquille O’Neal as their guest on the show, and Travis told the retired NBA star that he wants him to “teach me your ways” when it comes to O’Neal’s experience in the DJ booth.
“Bro, I got you, I got you,” O’Neal, 53, told him. “You know what’s crazy? You opening up with your girlfriend? Bro, you’d be a f—— star. 10 minutes hyping up the crowd. Oh my God.”

Travis agreed with O’Neal’s take, saying, “Come on, you know I’m a hype man. You know I’m a hype man. Get it rocking in there. Have the Swifties bouncing off the walls for tickets out there.”
Later in the episode, the Los Angeles Lakers alum pulled out his phone blasting Swift’s hit “I Knew You Were Trouble” and started jamming out to the track, calling it his “favorite song in the world.”
“Shout out to Tay Tay. Just got that song back, too,” Travis said, referencing Swift recently buying back her music catalog. Travis then celebrated the news, adding, “Just bought all her music back so it’s finally hers, man, I appreciate that, dog. Love you, big Diesel.”

Travis has been a longtime fan of his girlfriend’s music and attended numerous stops on her record-breaking Eras Tour around the globe. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end even got on the stage himself, assisting Swift during one of her London shows at Wembley Stadium in June 2024.
The couple first got together in 2023 after Travis attended an Eras Tour show and was upset that he couldn’t give Swift a personalized friendship bracelet. He talked about the moment on New Heights, saying he was trying to slip the pop star his number at the time.

Swift later credited the call out with kickstarting their relationship, telling Time magazine, it “all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell.”
The couple have been spending quality time together since Swift wrapped the Eras Tour in December and Travis started the football offseason in early February.
A Kelce source recently told PEOPLE that Swift is in Miami “to support and spend time” with Travis as he trains for the upcoming season.
“Travis still seems very happy with Taylor,” the source added.
Prior to training, the couple enjoyed private vacations around the world.
“They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it,” an insider told PEOPLE of the pair in April. “They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them.”
At the time, the source also said that the stars were “very serious and in sync,” adding: “They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.”
