Things are about to get very festive on Netflix.
The beginning of November marks a shift on the platform, when the sappy rom-coms turn from summer fodder to remarkably cozy and festive. The streamer has a couple of star-studded holiday romances slated for the month (including Minka Kelly as a high-powered CEO ready to be swept off her feet at Christmastime), but if that isn’t your thing, you’re still in luck.
Push aside the snowy kisses at the Eiffel Tower and instead cue up any one of the six drama shows and movies coming to the platform in November. From the niche favorite Minx, about the woman who started the United States’ first erotic magazine for women, to Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys’ thriller The Beast in Me, about a relentless chase for survival, all the bases are covered this month.
So, after the Halloween candy has officially run out, and you’re ready to start hibernating, here are 14 of the best shows and movies coming to Netflix in November 2025.
Minx: Seasons 1-2 (Nov. 4)
Katrina Marcinowski/HBO Max
Ophelia Lovibond starred in Minx as Joyce Prigger, a 1970s-era feminist who wanted to make erotica for women. In the two-season series, she teams up with Jake Johnson’s Doug Renetti, an adult entertainment publisher, to create the first-ever American erotic magazine for women.
The hilarious show started on HBO Max and was picked up by Starz for a second season. Now, both romps are coming to Netflix. Come for the larger-than-life story and stay for the pitch-perfect performances from (and chemistry between) Lovibond and Johnson.

The historical fiction four-part series Death by Lightning tells the compelling true story of the United States’ 20th president, James A. Garfield (Michael Shannon), who fought his way to the country’s highest seat only to be assassinated by political hopeful Charles Guiteau (Matthew Macfadyen).
Supported by an all-star cast, including Betty Gilpin and Nick Offerman, the series brings antiquated stories to life in an exciting fashion. With a few surprise laughs along the way, this drama seeks to take viewers into the behind-the-scenes of one of the U.S.’s first political scandals.

The Vince Staples Show season 2 (Nov. 6)
Ed Araquel/Netflix
In rapper Vince Staples’ genre-bending comedy-thriller series, nothing is as it seems. His namesake show follows a character that shares his real-life name, “going through some things,” as he says in the season 2 trailer. Namely, in the sophomore season, Vince is facing a lot of grief after losing multiple family members.
His loss manifests in interesting ways, taking viewers through meta action sequences, thoughtful monologues and even a brief animated section.

But, in come past partners and potential hot new lovers to stir the pot, including Pierson Fode, who already stole the show on the streamer in Miranda Cosgrove’s summer rom-com, The Wrong Paris.

Champagne Problems (Nov. 19)

Looking for a little Parisian romance? Champagne Problems combines many of life’s pleasures: wine, sweeping French vineyards and a hot male lead played by Tom Wozniczka.
The French actor stands against Minka Kelly’s business-focused character, who needs to lock down a champagne brand by Christmas but finds herself a little distracted by the heir to the winemaking fortune.
This gender-swapped You’ve Got Mail plot, in which one party falls in love while attempting to corporatize the other’s small business, never gets old.
