NEED TO KNOW
Will Arnett is offering some words of advice to Michelle Pfeiffer in the first teaser for The Madison.
On Sunday, Jan. 18, Paramount+ unleashed a glimpse of the forthcoming Taylor Sheridan series, which also features performances from Kurt Russell, Patrick J. Adams and Matthew Fox, among others.
In the clip, Pfeiffer’s Stacy Clyburn can be seen crying and lowering herself into a body of water, before apparently telling Arnett’s character, New York City-based therapist Phil Yorn, that her “center” and “soul” are “gone.”
“You will heal,” Arnett, 55, says. “If you let yourself.”
The remainder of the teaser features Russell’s Preston Clyburn giving her a kiss, before he can be seen fishing alongside Fox’s Paul Clyburn. “What do I have? Before I’m too old to do anything more than just remember,” he asks.

The drama — which stars Russell, 74, and Pfeiffer, 67 — is set in Montana and follows the Clyburn family as New York City transplants living in the Madison River valley. Per Paramount+, it’s “a profound love story channeled through a deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation,” described as Sheridan’s “most intimate work to date,” which unfolds “across two distinct worlds — the beautiful landscape of Montana and the vibrant energy of Manhattan — as it examines the ties that bind families together.”
Beau Garrett (Firefly Lane), Elle Chapman (A Man Called Otto), Amiah Miller (War for the Planet of the Apes), Alaina Pollack (The Surrender), Ben Schnetzer (3 Body Problem), Kevin Zegers (Power), Rebecca Spence (Lady in the Lake) and Danielle Vasinova (1923) round out the cast.
