Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova met on the set of his “Escape” music video in 2001, and their onscreen chemistry translated into 25 years together with four children between them.
The two have never tied the knot, but have spoken about their commitment to one another, and their top priority: Being good parents.
“[Marriage] isn’t important to me. I’m in a happy relationship — that’s all that matters,” Kournikova told Women’s Health in 2011. “I believe in commitment. I believe in being open and trusting each other and respecting each other completely.”
Iglesias, who once said he knew Kournikova would be “an ideal mother,” echoed her sentiments the following year to Parade: “I’ve never really thought marriage would make a difference. Maybe it’s because I come from divorced parents, but I don’t think you love somebody more because of a piece of paper. Nowadays, it’s not taboo to have kids and not be married. What makes a difference is that you’re a good parent, period.”
The couple welcomed twins Nicholas and Lucy in 2017, and daughter Mary in 2020. On Dec. 17, 2025, they had their fourth child, but have not yet shared details of the name or sex — just a very sweet photo of all four kids together.

On July 4, 2021, Iglesias held his twins in each of his arms as he poked his tongue out and made a silly face at the camera. Nicholas didn’t appear as enthused to take the photo whereas Lucy shared a big smile while wearing heart-shaped sunglasses.
