Taylor Swift shared an emotional private performance for her family in The End of an Era docuseries.
During the sixth episode, the pop megastar discusses her “weird jitters” ahead of the final Eras Tour show as she sits down at her keyboard backstage and begins playing a mashup of two of her tracks.
“This is one that you requested, this mashup,” Taylor, 36, tells her mom Andrea Swift, before launching into her 2010 track “Never Grow Up.”

Andrea then asks if she’s going to be playing it “tonight,” before Taylor says she “thinks so.”
“Oh, now I’m gonna cry again,” adds Andrea, 67.
After playing a few verses of the song, Taylor launches into her 2008 song “The Best Day” as her mom starts tearing up.
“You can’t do this to me,” Andrea tearfully says, as Taylor replies: “I can’t f—ing do it either, dude.”
Then the “Opalite” singer notes she’s going to record the song and talk it through as her brother Austin Swift hugs their mom and her dad Scott Swift comes into the room.
“[That] wrecked me,” Andrea says.
“I’m going to record that and just talk it through. I’m just gonna talk it through because I don’t wanna do that again,” Taylor laughs, before adding: “That’s a very upsetting situation.”
Austin then calls the mashup “tough” but “cool.”
As the camera pans to Scott, 73, and Austin, 33, Taylor then launches into “The Best Day” lyrics, “I have an excellent father / His strength is making me stronger / God smiles on my little brother / Inside and out he’s better than I am.”
After concluding the track, Scott tells Taylor that her Eras Tour “tickets should come with a warning” and praises the mashup as “amazing.”
“They really should,” she laughs. “They should just be printed on tissues. That’s ridiculous.”
The final two episodes of Taylor’s The End of an Era docuseries are streaming now on Disney+.
